The Gooding Soil Conservation District is one of fifty-two districts in
the State of Idaho whose purpose was mandated by the U.S. Congress to promote the conservation of natural resources and
provide local leadership that strives to meld conservation with sustainable agricultural through a group of
local volunteers who are elected by the general public to serve as the Board of Supervisors.

Lisa is demonstrating
what an arrow head is and what it was used for long ago and today. Fifth grade students from Gooding County had the
opportunity to explore and learn about geology and many other natural resources.
